Now in sale This is a stunning Monnington and Weston Baby Grand in mahogany. As far as baby grand pianos this is neat and compact and would fit easily into an alcove or small space. THIS PIANO WAS COMPLETELY RE CONDITIONED 5 YEARS AGO HAVING NEW STRINGS, DAMPERS AMD HAMMERS AND THE FRAME ALL PROFESSIONALLY RE SPRAYED. ALL THE PINS ARE NEW AS WELL WHICH CAN BE SEEN FROM THE PHOTOS. The unique characteristic of many Monington and Weston pianos from about 1920 is their double iron frame – there is an extra iron frame at the under the baby grand piano; this was an attempt to make them more stable. The case is in very good condition as can be seen from the photos. There is a small mark under the lid that can't be seen but I have taken a photo anyway. This certainty does not detract from the overall appearance of the piano all. As with all Monington and Weston pianos the tone is deep, mellow and rich. AN OUTSTANDING INSTRUMENT OF PURE QUALITY. The keys are perfect. All white and no chips or cracks. The dimensions are 135 cm from the back to the front and 145 cm across. We are fully experienced at moving pianos and do so in with as little disruption as possible and are able to deliver the piano to you to fit around your work/personal commitments, and can deliver anywhere in the country at a very reasonable rate.
