VNice 1975 Dieter Hopf German Classical w/ Hard Case - Fresh : made in Germany, 1975, Model 25/ ser# 874. Dieter is one of the best known German luthiers and his instruments are highly prized for their quality of build and balance. His present line runs from 3000-17,000. This beautiful example features a solid cedar top with well matched solid Rosewood back and sides, all nicely multi bound throughout. It has never been damaged or abused and has No issues. It shows only modest play wear and spider cracking of the top coat. The measurements are apx; scale length 25 3/4 “ (66.5 cm), nut width 2 1/16 (53mm), neck width 13th fret 2 7/16” (62mm), body length 19 7/8” (50cm), width at shoulders 11 1/4 (28.7cm), width at belly 14 3/4” (37.5cm) and has a body depth of 3 7/8” (9.78cm) at the bottom. I just cleaned and restrung it with Augustine Blue high tensions Includes a very cool Lifton hard case in fair-good condition (solid and protects well but much outer wear.
