This is an original 1962 Strat body with a very old and accurate Nitro refinish in Candy Apple Red. The bouts of the body were slightly over sanded, but it still retains the classic shape. It was done with a gold base coat.. The paint holes are still visible and probably used to do refinish. There is a little wood chipped away between the middle and bridge pickup routes for some reason. I bought this many years ago as a complete 1962 Strat with a refin body only. Over the years I sold off the other parts and kept this body. I figured it's time for someone to enjoy it to liven up their '62 parts or just a cool project guitar. It is a very cool body and is light weight. It also retains the original '62 strap pegs. ENJOY !!
