New Greenbrier "Buck Skin" F-7AE F-Style Mandolin with Case - Acoustic/ElectricSolid Hand Carved Spruce & Solid hand Carved Maple*Includes Built in Acoustic Pickup ****Made in the USA in Greenbrier Arkansas** Howdy folks. I have here a beautiful solid hand carved F-style mandolin built here in my shop. While building it, I was able to install an acoustic pickup that due to its placement makes this mandolin sound like an orchestra through an acoustic amp. I was amazed at how good it sounds. It has an end pin jack that you plug into. The top is made of solid hand carved and graduated spruce with custom fit scalloped spruce tone bars. The neck is fitted with a rosewood fretboard, polished bone nut (1 1/8th inch, 3 cm) and an adjustable truss rod. The neck, back and sides I carved from solid figured maple. This is one of the few mandolins I will make with binding. This is a hand rubbed oil finish, and I call it the "Buck Skin." This baby does play wonderful. Please call me if you have any questions. 501-314-8967. I put on a traditional tailpiece and trumpeted the F-holes. The sound is very full, woody and resonant. The mandolin is new. The case shown is included. The action on the mandolin strings is great, and it plays very easy.
