This is in exceptionally good condition considering it is over 100 years old. It was bought secondhand for my husband in 1955 from Kitchen's of Leeds. Since then it has been used on a regular basis. It is in good playing condition. The only repair we know of is a patch which I have shown on a picture and the only thing it needs is a cork in one valve. I cannot see any dents on it. It comes with mouthpiece and A shank. A hard case was provided from Kitchen's which is included. It is marked Patent Clear Bore Contesting model class A Exhibition Prize Medals awared to J Higham makers 127 Strangeways Manchester England and No 51833. It is very rare to see one that has had such loving care to keep it in this undamaged condition and we have not found a contesting model for sale.
