Final (start) price drop. You are viewing an absolutely stunning 1998 Gibson Les Paul Standard DC in Royal Blue! Just look at those blue flames in her maple top! This guitar is very close to mint, but there is a tiny scuff and tiny ding near the horn/strap peg, which are almost too small to photograph. But, if you look closely, you will see them. The back is very clean, but does have some faint/light scratches, which some might call "buckle rash," but I think they were more likely made by shirt buttons. This is how I received the guitar from her previous owner. Overall, I would say she is VERY clean, but collectors who want a completely "flawless" example might want to look elsewhere. She has very little fret wear, a gorgeous rosewood fretboard, and the venerable 490R/498T pickups. She can really sing! If you have been looking for a very clean example of this guitar, I highly doubt that you would be disappointed with her! Note: I do have a photo of her serial number, but will only be providing it to the new buyer, as opposed to the masses. Rest assured that you are dealing with a reputable seller.
