Here is a great 1965 Gibson EB2 bass with unique brown back and its original hard shell case. The bass is serial number 348077, which makes it clearly a 1965 (see serial number photo from Vintage Guitar Info site.) This bass plays great-frets are good, neck straight and has new, chunky LaBella flat wounds. The finish has VERY mild checking and a few assorted dings on the front and back, no neck issues and overall in great condition (see the photos). The bridge, mute and tuners are bright and in amazing shape for a 65. It has the original push button baritone switch which works great and changes the tone from the deep "thunder under the stage" bone-jarring, humbucker growl to snappy treble. The case is also in great shape - sound and complete. Ask questions.
