Original sheet music signed by the lyric writer of this famous song. Gillespie was the piano instructor for the woman to whom this is addressed. The sheet is in good condition and the signature is clear and strong. After a great deal of internet searching and contact with a couple of auction houses, I have failed to locate any similar examples of Gillespie's signature (on anything). Coots' (the melody writer) signature is supposedly bringing upwards of $7,000 on one website.
