This RCA MI-6203D Varacoustic is a beautiful, near-mint microphone. An ultimate quality ribbon mic, it features nearly the same ribbon set-up as the famous RCA 77 series. In excellent cosmetic condition, the mic shows only slight evidence of wear. Recently tested, it produces that smooth sound and clear tone obrained only by a RCA ribbon mic, and its reproduction is perfect in all five position settings. This Varacoustic is hard wired to a short, three-pin Cannon connector, and comes with a reproduction copy of the seven-page, RCA Instructions booklet that came with the original 1930s-40s Varacoustic microphone production runs. Stand is not included in the auction. Questions welcome.
