Beautiful unused limited edition Ludwig Millennium 5x14 brass snare drum. This drum is #37 of only 100 made by Ludwig in 2000 to celebrate the new millennium. The drum includes a plush lined hard case and will be shipped in it's original Ludwig cardboard box. The only thing I would recommend is that the brass be cleaned. Spending 16 years locked away in it's case won't stop brass from tarnishing a little. The overall effect of this drum is warm yellow brilliance but if you look close at the picture of the snare butt you will see a little of the tarnish. There is a another Millennium snare on ebay right now for $1850 located in the UK. I'm going to list mine for $400 less due to the slight tarnish. I will accept offers that are close to this amount. Since this item is new and can only be sold as new once...I cannot accept returns."The Ludwig Millennium Snare is a special Limited Edition package including a case. We built in special features to produce its distinctive resonance, projection and bright sound." Special features include an engraved brass plated P86 Millennium strainer, brass plated tube lugs, and brass plated die cast hoops on the top and bottom. The unique Millennium strainer has lever action with swivel pivot for full snare contact. The strainer allows easy access to tension adjustment. The Millennium Snare is available with a brass shell, and is packaged with the Millennium badge and serial number plate, along with a deluxe case. Only 100 of each model and size will be manufactured, making these drums a true collector’s dream."
