Vintage Traynor Guitar Mate Mark Three YGL-3 2x12” tube guitar amplifier Original one owner 2 Channel hard wired tube amp guitar amplifier made in Canada.  The best of both the Marshall and Fender sound.    Master Volume, Reverb, Tremolo, Treble Boost Switch, High/Normal Inputs, Bass, Mid, Treble, and Standby Switch.  Additional 120vac plug in the back, Ground ‘Lift’ Switch, External Speaker Plug. Purchased new by yours truly from Star Music in Morristown NJ 38 years ago in late summer of 1978.  Serial number 8062244 which means it was manufactured in June of 1978. Also comes with a vintage MORLEY RFS-2 Footswitch and 2 cool vintage blue cords that plug into the back of the amp to remotely control the Tremolo and the Reverb. The speakers had been upgraded to Celestion G12L-30’s in the 90’s when I was an avid player (what a difference that was). I had also added rolling casters (wheels) to the base of the amp.  Makes moving this beast around much easier. As you can see the amp is very clean, and in very good shape.  This amp can go from clean to dirty tone and you can make it anyway you like with all the controls.  As with anything 38 years old, there is some wear and tear as you can see in the pictures.  It has not been serviced or used much in the last 10 years, but I’ve tested all functions and everything works properly.  If you want to do the caps and tubes that will be your choice but it works the way it is.   After shipping I cannot guarantee that everything is perfect as something could come loose during the transport, so if there is any way to pick up locally that would be your best bet.   From the Traynor website: “Although control features were similar to the YSR-2, this was a totally new design with four 6CA7 outputs & 12AX7s in the preamp plus a 6BQ5 for reverb drive. There was also a master volume control.
