VINTAGE FENDER 2 X 12 1962 / 1965 VERY RARE WITH 2 ALTEC 417-8C 12" CONES IN GREAT SHAPE
THESE PARTICULAR SPEAKERS WERE CARLOS SANTANA FAVORITE ,AND MANY OTHERS, THIS CAB I WAS TOLD WAS PREVIOUSLY OWNED BY JOE PERRY , AND WAS LEFT BEHIND IN A RECORDING STUDIO IN NJ , I GOT IT IN 1996 FROM THAT STUDIO ( NO LONGER IN BUSINESS )
I RECORDED MORE THAN 50 CABS IN THE PAST 25 YEARS AND NOTHING SOUND LIKE THIS ONE , " ITS JUST AMAZING ! " THE TONE IS AS WARM AND INTIMATE AS IT GETS
THEY ARE THE HOLY GRAIL OF VINTAGE SPEAKERS ! , THE OUTSIDE LOOKS A BIT ROUGH BUT IS ALL ORIGINAL , NICELY AGED WOOD , AND I THINK SOMEHOW THE FACT THAT THE WOOD IS EXPOSED IT BREATHES AND VIBRATE IN A WHOLE DIFFERENT WAY ,YOU DEFINITELY HEAR HISTORY WHEN YOU PLAY THIS ONE , I ACTUALLY LOVE THE LOOK , NEVER SEEN IT ONE LIKE IT .
please note some original screws missing in the back the cab , but does not rattle at all , also note the hole on the side , and new washer by jack input .
