Our Yanigasawa AW01B is a professional instrument at a very competitive price. This alto saxophone features outstanding projection, full-bodied tone, lively response and Yanagisawa high precision engineering. The Yanagisawa A901 has a standard neck configuration as compared with the underslung model on the 991/992, the 901 also has its pillars individually mounted directly to the body which allows the base brass to really sing. This saxophone is an excellent horn for both the classical and contemporary style-player. It has excellent intonation, response and features all of the standard key configurations and other features you’d expect in a modern alto saxophone including high F# and all alternate fingerings. It also features brass lacquer finish and the professional deluxe case standard with this model. This horn was dropped by one of our clients in store. Our tech has done an excellent job reworking the bell and fixing the bracket surrounding the alternate F key. Both repairs are featured in our set of images for this horn and are the only two repairs this horn required. We have discounted this horn to reflect this work. The playability of this instrument is excellent and it is in brand new condition in every other way. List price is $6695.00. Retail price usually $4025.00.
