Looking for one of the nicest little pineapple ukulele on the mainland? This is a sweet gold label ukulele might be exactly what you're looking for and I just simply do not play as much as I should. Just what you want though from a vintage Kamaka pineapple. Great playing action and nice sweet island sound. It comes in a Uke Crazy soft case with strap. I have been storing it with a humidifier, since my possession.Details: Gold Label with KK decal dating the uke from 1954-1969. All solid koa construction with two piece neck and friction tuners. Strung with Martin M600 Strings.Provenance: I acquired this ukulele at auction from an estate where the husband was in the Navy. Based mostly in the Pacific theatre during the Korean War era, the auction had other Hawaiian related items so I always assumed it was purchased on a trip to, or while be stationed on Hawaii. Condition issues. This ukulele is in fantastic near mint condition. Minimum to no play ware. Some very slight finish wear on the front above the sound hold. When I took possession on the uke, it had a very small crack that I had looked at by Appalachian Bluegrass, a local luthier who does very conservative and respectable repair work. After hydrating, the crack, as you can see from the picture was almost nothing to glue. The finish was not altered in the process (Original from what I can tell) and the crack can be barely noticed. The KK decal rubbed off a bit but the remaining remnants are quite stable. Please note that I am not a professional dealer and the stated condition of near mint is my opinion. Please review the pictures to make up your own mind regarding condition. Ask for more pictures if you would like to see anything in more detail.
