Vintage Simmons Drums SDS 9 Brain. Fully restored to factory specs. This was the first drum brain with MIDI. Early to mid 80's. Has the classic Simmons analog Tom sounds with digital Snare and Rim sounds which are user changeable. (EPROMS under cover shown). This unit has been completely updated and has the latest operating software installed. Has new memory cell and has been reinitialized to factory settings. Has 20 factory kit settings and 20 user programmable that can be stored. Has a cool echo feature unique to this unit. There are Kick, Snare, Rim, and three Tom inputs and outputs.
All in's and out's have been checked All potentiometers and buttons have been cleaned and verified as working as intended. Case shows some signs of wear but nomenclature is all legible.
