Elektron Analog Four Synthesizer Module / Groovebox
Estimated price for orientation: 899 $
Category: Elektron Analog
Class:
Description Brand: Elektron Features: Arpeggiator, Built-In Effects, Display Screen Type: Sound Module Country/Region of Manufacture: Sweden
If you're looking at this you probably already know what it does and why you want one. This unit was Elektron's first foray into Analog synthesis and it features four monophonic analog synthesizer tracks with two DCO (digitally controlled oscillators; not the same as a digital oscillator) with corresponding sub oscillators and analog filters per track. Each track has it's own dedicated sequencer channel utilizing the amazingly power Elektron sequencer workflow including the ability to lock any parameter, including patch, per track. This means that you can use one track as a liner drum machine by putting analog kick sounds, snares, hats, claps, and crashes on different steps utilizing only one voice. It also features four CV out for controlling either Eurorack or vintage analog gear. Add in an effects section (Chorus, Delay and Reverb) and the ability to use Elektron's award winning Overbridge technology to fully integrate the unit into your DAW and you've got an amazingly powerful unit for the price.I've had this unit for 18 months and am only parting with it because I'm upgrading to the Analog Keys version that includes a key bed.I'm happy to answer any questions that you may have.Edits: Added pictures. Noticed that the box contained the rack mount ears. Modified name to remove "Keyboard" as this is obviously a module / groove box and not a keyboard.Happy bidding!
