Ok, it's showing it's age but it's straight and still feels great in your hand. Comes with the original nut and string tree. Back of the neck is nice and smooth. Neck stamp is May of '69 so just in time for the summer Bryan Adams likes to sing about. The tuners are the "F" type and may be from the late 70's but are also included along with the ferrules and screws. No overspray. Some finish is worn off in places on the edge of the fretboard and at the bass of the neck where the skunk stripe starts the finish is also worn off in the shape of a triangle. There are little cracks that you can see in the photos and also a tiny little hole right in the middle of the skunk stripe behind the 6th fret. You won't feel it when playing...see last photo. Frets are worn but I can still play it just fine. There is a shim at the base where it lays in the body's neck cavity. I don't know if it was originally made that way but the old finish which is now amber matches exactly on the sides so I'm inclined to think it was factory. Anyway, the neck angle and overall relationship with the body all lined up as it should. There was some paint left behind in the same area as it sat in a refinished body which I also have listed for sale. I'm sure the paint can be scraped or wiped away with rubbing compound but I'll leave that to the next owner. Also has a Fender sticker on the back of the headstock but I thought it looked kind of cool so I left it. Please make payment within 24 hours.
