The finish is like freshly Windex-ed glass. It is flawless--a deep, rich Rickenbacker blue. I love this guitar, but it should be played by someone who can do it justice. I can't. I part with it regretfully, but out of necessity. All parts are original, with the exception of the strings. Strings are Rickenbacker 09s. I've cleaned after every play and kept it in its case when not played. It sounds amazing, as do all Rickenbackers. If you'd like more photos, or photos of specific parts, let me know.
