Up for sale is a Nice Vintage 1947 Martin Mandolin in a newer hard shell case- Very nice condition, Excellent Action and great traditional bluegrass tones flow loudly from the sound hole of this incredible mandolin- Neck is in great condition and plays like butter- If you look closely at the top in the right light, the neck end top is lighter than the rest of the top which leads us to believe the neck may have been reset at some point but, if it was it is the most flawless reset job I have ever seen because it looks like factory work!- Minor scratching in the finish, mostly on the back, but item has to be closely examined in the correct lighting to see them- There is one minor finish chip on the top edge of the body - And some general minor wear that is expected for an instrument of it's age Please Click on pix to see a larger view!- Comes in a nice hardshell case.PLEASE EXAMINE ALL PICTURES VERY CAREFULLY!
