U1 Yamaha upright in excellent condition - black high gloss cabinet. Only selling as inherited a grand and have no room for 2 pianos. A true joy to play and own - a really excellent piano built in Yamaha's factory in Japan. The casing is in super condition with some light surface scratches to the lid but nothing to detract from the beauty of this piano as you can see in the pictures. The difference between this piano and others ion eBay is that it has had the action fully refurbished with:brand new tapesfeltssprings regulated and voicedhammers refaced It was tuned again in March this year and the piano tuner commented upon the excellence in tone quality and responsiveness of the keyboard. It holds its tune well and has a medium touch and strong tone in the bass with a clear treble. Full 88 note keyboard , over strung and under damped. Would be an outstanding instrument for beginner or professional alike. Fantastic tonal quality and with all the work done as described will give many more decades of enjoyment. You would pay near £2800+ for this in the shops without this work done so you would be getting a bargain and an outstanding instrument too! Dimensions 121cm high x 153cm long x 61cm deep.
