This microphone started out was a good mic in its own right, but I wanted a great vocal mic. With that goal in mind I sent it out to Jim Jacobsen at JJ Audio for a deluxe electronics upgrade. He also installed an AMI (Telefunken) transformer. The package is topped off with a 797 audio k67 capsule. The result is a crisp clean mic with the transformer and tube warmth that makes a vocal really stand out. It is also beautiful on acoustic sources like guitar and piano. Visually it is a head turner. It looks impressive on the stand and that translates into some inspiration for whoever performs in front of it. The package includes the mic, power supply, cable, shock mount, extra bands for the mount, and the original capsule. Get this one of a kind mic while you can.
