Gibson Original Hardshell Case with Black ShroudThis 2008 Gibson '61 Reissue SG is in excellent shape with very minor playwear. The guitar appears to be 100% stock including the original Gibson 57 Classic Pickups with Patent Pending stickers on the back. There are some scratches on the pickguard, a few extremely mild handling marks on the back, and the type of small imperfections you would expect on an 8 year old guitar that has been played, but nothing through the clearcoat or noticeable on quick inspection. There are two imperfections noteworthy enough to point out on their own. There is a ding on the edge of the headstock shown in Photo 8, and there is a small eraser tip indentation on the back of the neck around the 2nd fret shown in Photo 9. If the mark on the back of the neck was anywhere else on the guitar, it would not be prominent enough to point out, and you can see how small, shallow, and hard it is to even pick out in the Photo, but since it is on the neck, it is being noted. The guitar comes with the original Gibson USA hardshell case with black shroud.Photos are of the actual guitar. They are not stock photos. Part of the serial number has been Photoshopped out for security and to highlight the digits that shows the manufacturing year.
