1989 Gibson Les Paul Standard in a rare cream finish with beautiful tan binding. Original Gibson case with gold hardware and we are rating this tone monster at a 9 out of 10. This year of Gibson guitar is considered one of the finest tonal wood years Gibson ever made 1989-1994 good wood era considered by Gibson aficionados as the best tonal wood years. This guitar has Seymour Duncan P90 pickups in it currently however the original HB R and HBO L made by the Bill Lawrence collaboration with Gibson only in 1989 and 1990 and they come along with this package ( so two full sets of pickups ) Bill Lawrence Humbuckers are the best. All original item and just a beast. Our in house tech who has worked with numerous national touring bands such as Cinderella has set it up which assures you a nice low action and speedy neck. There is a small amount of finish checking or discoloration on the back of the guitar body by the rear body guitar strap button, which can not be seen when performing.This is normal for a vintage instrument of this age. Just a very fine example of a 1989 Paul and reminds us of one of the great players Randy Rhodes. Free shipping to the lower 48 US States.
