L.P. Classic Model Congas were the 1st wood congas introduced by L P. They have become the standard by which other wood congas are judged. The specially selected Siam oak add to the drums over All warm tone, while the unique shell contour brings out the drums mid and high Sound ranges. These 30" tall congas feature comfort curve II rims, 5/16th of an inch diameter tuning lugs and Reinforcrd L P side plates, each secured with A backing plate. The rawhide heads have been specially treated to provide A uniform White color and A softer touch.
