RARE GRETSCH 1989 FIREBIRD ALL GOLD HARDWARE, BIGSBY, GRETSCH CASE MORE You are bidding on a genuine 1989 Gretsch Firebird semi-solid body electric, model 6131T, with chambered mahogany body and lacquered red maple top, rosewood fingerboard and mahogany neck, in superb condition, with genuine Gretsch HS case. Two nice Filtertron Pickups (the bridge pickup is a custom TV Jones installation!), Bigsby, tune-a-matic bridge, switches and strap nuts all gold in excellent condition. Every thing was gone over and tweaked by the luthier when the TV Jones was installed. Ignore the incorrect automated eBay description please, this is not "chromed hardwre" its the gold. Serial No. 89-10131-35 This is the best of these beauties made in Japan, superior build quality of the Terada plant 8000 series, not the cheaper models produced in Korea and China. Plays great, looks great and sounds great, with that real Gretsch twang. Your chance to get a Gretsch with some age and patina on it, for a price below what new ones go for.
