Great working condition Beesneez "James" tube mic with shock mount, power supply and IEC and multi pin mic cable + Pelican waterproof flight case. This mic is from the Beesneez Producer Series, fully hand-made in Australia from the capsule to the metalwork. Comes with original vintage JAN tube! Has a charmingly sweet/dark tone while still being detailed and clear. Takes EQ and compression very well and sounds very good to tape or digital. I think the warmth from the microphone somewhat emulates the rounded EQ curves you would find recording to tape anyway. Microphone body has a few chips in the paint, I received it that way. The foam in the case is a little messy, but could be very easily redone. The Beesneez James and everything included will be professionally packaged and shipped fully insured, free of charge to the lower 48. International shipping will be at the buyer's expense. Once we were happy with our design specifications we realised that not only was the James perfect in this regard, but it also captured that old school vibe that so many love. The tone is smooth and lush with mid frequencies forward and has none of the associated sibilance issues present in many modern microphones. If your microphone collection does not contain some of the classics from the 50's and 60's then the James will open you up to a whole new era of microphone sonic pleasure. The James features our K7 capsule, a JAN 12AT7WC tube, Cinemag 2480 transformer and 9 polar patterns.
