This is a MINT Conn Connstellation 9DYS French Horn in yellow brass construction. The Conn 9DYS is a relative newcomer to the Conn horn lineup. Based on the design of the legendary 8D, the 9D has a medium-large bell throat for better sectional blending. The 9DY features yellow brass bell construction for a warmer sound and superb response. Split bell makes the horn more portable and easier to store. This instrument is ostensibly a demo model but is in perfect conditon and I see no signs that it was ever played .
