Charlie Lab Digitar pocket Midi GuitarDer Digitar MIDI Controller ist ein Produkt des italienischen Herstellers Charlie Lab und erlaubt die Simulation typischer Gitarrenspieltechnik in Verbindung mit Akkorden, die auf einem MIDI-Keyboard gedrückt werden oder von einem Sequenzer kommen. Digitar hat sechs Saiten, die allein der Synchronisation dienen und damit den sukzessiven Anschlag der rechten Hand eines Gitarristen nachbilden. Nicht zuletzt wegen seiner geringen Abmessungen von nur 10 x 15 cm findet der MIDI Controller leicht Platz in einer MIDI-Umgebung und hat sich vor allem bei Programmierern von MIDI-Files und Styles für Begleitautomaten als unentbehrliches Werkzeug durchgesetzt.
