This is a MINT Holton H-176 Ethel Merker model 'Merker Matic' professional French horn. Wow! Introduced a little while back the Merker model took the French horn world by storm with its newly designed 4th branch dual bore construction and new mouthpipe tapers that make this a very open blowing horn with great response and terrific legato. This horn features red brass construction that warms the tone for soloistic passages. This instrument is in mint condition. Ostensibly a demo model I see no signs that it has ever been played.
