An very fine and great sounding 16 3/4" HUNGARIAN viola by LAJOS KONYA. made in 2000. This is a large and great sounding viola made by a member of the famous Konya family. His brother Stefano Conia is the best none, because he works in Cremona. Lajos also studied and worked in Cremona with Stefano. Some of Stefano Conia's instruments were in fact made by Lajos and labeled Stefano.This viola was made in Hungary. Had it be labeled Stefano, the price would be much higher. The viola comes with a certificate by the maker.
