A rare, very fine French certified 3/4 size violin bow made by Nicolas Simon ca. 1850. This is a nice example and excellent playing bow in a fine state of preservation.
The stick is round, strong with a perfect flexibility, excellent tone and very fine handling.
Frog and button are ebony with silver mounting. The weight of the bow is 52 g and the length of the stick is 65.4 cm.
