This is a NO RESERVE Auction for Eventide H9 MAX (MAX-ed). I’ve heard about this EVENTIDE H9 being AWESOME from everybody. I was curious so I decided to experiment with, not only one H9, but two H9s’. I was thoroughly impressed with what it can do AND what it can do beyond what I am capable of doing…I feel like I am not giving this enough time to discover its potential, but the time has come for me to move to a rack system for my new project in near future. My loss is your gain! Here is what I really like about H9. First and foremost, I was able to control its parameters using my iPhone, iPad, iMac, and my PC. I’ve never learnt how to use the control buttons and dials on the pedal itself. I didn’t see any need for that, since I had my i-devices. This meant no more bending down with my guitar on my shoulder in an awkward position while tweaking effects or no more reading glasses while I am using H9….yay! This was a MAJOR plus for me since I tweak my sound constantly. This actual H9 was originally purchased as H9 Core during Summer 2015. I played this only ay home and for about total of about 30 hours split over 10 months or so. So it is in new condition (come with everting as it did new in the original packaging). It has never left my studio, smoke free and climate controlled environment. It comes with Algorithms. The ‘Algorithm’ is a glorified term that describes a ‘guitar effects’ such as delay chorus, etc. These can be bought through in-app purchases. It came with original 25 algorithms: all that means it came with 25 effects settings for Eventide H910/H949. Those are glorified pitch-shifter from Eventide back in the 70’s. After playing with it for an hour or so, I had realized that it came with a credit for one additional algorithm. So I bought a Chorus. I loved it so much I bought a Delay, then phaser, another delay and so on...before it knew it I had all algorithms. They call this MAXED OUT. I bought enough effects and setting that Eventide gave me ALL available effects that they were offering for H9. Also, any new additional algorithm is included. Since this was converted to H9 MAX, I had installed Crush station (distortion), and Space Time (Delay, Modulation, and Reverb all in one: FANTASTIC EFFECT!). It has been de-authorized form my eventide account, which mean when you registered it it will register to you as H9 Max and remain as H9 Max. I tested this by creating a new eventide account because my slow brain couldn’t process this info explained by Eventide. I had to see it myself…. Here is another thing: I’ve learned during this MAXED OUT process that if I buy a H9 core, it can be used like H9 Max and up to five H9s’. So I was running two H9s’ and both as H9 Max. I am selling my second H9 on my other auction. So check that out, too. The set up and program updates and additions are not something I was used to. But, once I grasped the concept it was easy to use. The best set up that I found was using one in-front of the amp and other other in the in the effect loop. Some effects are made for front of the amp and some are for effects loop. For example, while you can use it in-front of the amp, modulation effects sounded better in the effects loop than front of the amp. Also, Parametric EQ comes with compressor and Noise gate as one effect. So that had to go separate from Delay + chorus effect. To do this you will need two H9s and this auction include one H9 Max only. Crush Station is an overdrive/distortion with all the flexibility that you’d need: I used this for gain stacking and ‘Boy, it was made to work with my amp head’. Space time is a cool all-in-one delay, chorus and reverb…very spacy in deed. Sample tracks are available via the H9 software. You don’t need H9 to listen to sample tracks. Just install the software, go to store, select an algorithm of your interest and hear the sample tracks through a kick ass speakers and be sure to turn the sound up. You win this H9 you will get ALL EFFECTS in that software. AND there is a LOOPER built in to this H9. I can go one forever… This item is being advertised locally as well. So I reserved the right to end this auction with no prior noticed at any given moment. The package is USPS medium flat rate box (11”x8.5”x5.5”) and weights 3lbs.
