2014 Gibson Les Paul Custom Lite Electric Guitar - Ebony w/OHSC
Item Description
2014 Gibson Les Paul Custom Lite Electric Guitar in excellent condition. The protective plastic is still on the pickguard. There is little to no playwear on the front and a few very light marks on the back. Classic Ebony finish on the thinline body with white binding and gold hardware. The guitar has a nice action and the quartersawn mahogany neck with a bound rosewood fretboard and a rounded 50's profile has a great comfortable feel. The frets are in excellent condition. The 490R and 498T pickups have a great tone and output. The electronics consist of a volume for each pickup and a master tone. Where the other tone was is a switch that splits the coils to add single coil tones to the mix. Looks, plays and sounds great. Includes the original Gibson hard shell case.  Made in the USA. Serial Number: 140103947  Weight:      7 lbs.     15 oz.
The Gibson Les Paul Custom Lite solidbody electric guitar will go easy on your back, thanks to its thinline mahogany body with traditional weight relief. It's designed to bring you the elegance and rich tone of a Les Paul Custom, without the back strain. You'll find everything you expect from a LP like a maple top, set-in mah neck with rosewood fretboard, and a roaring pair of humbucking pickups. And with a coil split switch in place of a second tone control, you've got all manner of single-coil tones too in the Gibson Les Paul Custom Lite. Gibson Les Paul Custom Lite Solidbody Electric Guitar at a Glance: Classic Les Paul with a thinner, lighter design Dual humbucking pickups can be coil-split for extra tonal versatility Quartersawn mah neck enhances your toneClassic Les Paul with a thinner, lighter design The Les Paul Custom has always been the cream of the LP crop, but many are considerably heavier than even their LP Standard brethren. To give your back some relief, Gibson created the Les Paul Custom Lite with a thinner body profile with traditional weight relief. You get the classic look, feel, and tone of a Les Paul, without the poor posture. If you play long gigs with your Les Paul, you owe it to yourself to try out the Les Paul Custom Lite. Dual humbucking pickups can be coil-split for extra tonal versatility When you're talking about a Les Paul, you're talking about that big, fat, smoky humbucker sound. You've got that nice chunky neck in your left hand and you're grabbing big fat power chords and soloing all up and down the fingerboard. So Gibson put two huge-sounding humbucking pickups on this baby with hot Alnico magnets - a 490R in the neck position and a 498T in the bridge position. And for extra versatility, this LP's sports a coil-split switch in place of a second tone control. Flip the switch, and you've got access to a world of single-coil tones too. Quartersawn mah neck enhances your tone The neck is one of the most important aspects of any instrument, which is why the Gibson Les Paul Custom Lite features a quartersawn mah neck. Besides looking good, the straight grain of quartersawn necks is about 50% more rigid than plain-sawn necks, and less likely to warp, twist or shrink over the years. The Les Paul Custom Lite is one instrument you can count on
