Bluebird guitar made by Oscar Schmidt (1871-1939) with the same specs as some “budget” Stellas but without decal running down middle of back. Otherwise the same. This guitar was most likely made in the 1930s. Truly, it has a beautiful, deep tone— Mostly original, with painted-on “pickguard” and fretboard decoration. Some dings and scratches, of course. The bridge pins are new (I will include 5 of the original wood bridge pins—one broke off so I replaced them all with plastic). I originally set this up to play lap style, with a nut riser, and will include that, too. As with most of these older guitars, the action is a bit high: 1/8” at the first fret, 3/16” at the seventh fret, a little less than 1/4” at the twelfth fret. In great shape, though. In all, this is a lovely, truly vintage, piece; it will make a great addition to your collection of playing guitars.
