Alejandro Cervantes is a second generation luthier who is building incredible guitars from student level to concert instruments. Here is his Milenia PE and the PE stands for Palo Escrito which is the back and side wood used. Palo Escrito is a fantastic tone wood with a very ringing tap tone and this wood combined with the cedar top makes a great combination. This guitar also features an elevated fretboard, which is rare on a guitar in this price range and this feature makes it so you can reach the upper register very easily.You must play and hear this guitar to appreciate the incredible volume and tone. The lattice bracing gives it a quick attack and excellent definition between the notes. It also has really good volume and the notes seem to jump off the strings. I am constantly amazed by the guitars that Alejandro Cervantes puts out. They are all fantastic value.
