For rock, country or blues players that want a moderately powered amp they can crank up on the gig or in the studio. The fat, snappy guitar tones heard on many of our favorite recordings, from Memphis to Abbey Road, were made using the Deluxe. The new 65 Deluxe Reverb is living proof of the quality and longevity of Fender amp designs. Over the years, many musicians have found the versatile Deluxe Reverb a perfect match for surf, rock, blues, soul, country and every music style in between. Featuring Reverb and Vibrato, this two-channel amp has been used on thousands of recordings and countless live performance since 1963 when the first version appeared on the music scene. The 65 Deluxe Reverb is a faithful reproduction of an original 1965 Deluxe Reverb model AB 763. Every effort has been made to keep the circuitry exactly like the original. For improved reliability and manufacturing efficiency, a printed circuit board for the components is used in place of the original phenolic parts panel. The power and output transformers used in the 22-watt 65 Deluxe Reverb are built to the original specifications and although some components used in this re-issue amplifier are different in size and shape from the earlier version, the component values are identical. The speaker is a duplicate of the original Jensen 12-inch Specially Designed For Fender speaker used during the 1960 s. The 65 Deluxe Reverb is the ultimate club amp for blues, rock or country, or for studio recording applications. Big enough to cut through the mix, but small enough to turn up and wail. The 65 Deluxe features 22-watts, one 12 special design speaker, 2 channels (normal, vibrato), all-tube circuitry, tube vibrato, tube spring reverb, Black-face cosmetics, and a 2-button footswitch for reverb & vibrato. |
