Up for auction is a 1929's antique drum set as used by my grandfather in the 1930's, 40's and 50's. This set was used throughout the Big Band era and many times for area vaudeville shows. This set includes:Ludwig and Ludwig Mahogany Base Drum with old painted mountain scene - 28 1/2" x 16"Walberg and Auge (stamped inside drum) wooden snare possibly from the early 1900's to late 1890's, 14 1/2" x 5" One side has a damaged head and other side is good.Metal on metal snare drum 14 1/2" x 4 1/2" also believed to be Walberg and Auge.High hat stand 2 drum stands by HamiltonBase drum petal by Leedy Fraser, Pat. Indianapolis, Ind.Large Brass 14" cymbal stamped "Zildjian Cie Constantinople ( according to cymbal stamp timeline this dates to 19132 - 10" brass cymbals (high hat) stamped Ludwig, one cymbal is slightly warpedCanvas snap fitted cover for base drum in very good conditionOriginal cloth fitted cover for snare drum in poor condition.Box of drum keys, addressed from LudwigLarge trap case 16" x 24" with spare parts (wirw brushes, 3 old wooden drum sticks, 2 padded tom tom drumsticks) Here is a chance to own a rare early drum set, a great collectible.
