Here for your consideration, we are offering an exceptional musical instrument. This 1930's wood bodied Dobro was made for N I O M A, a school and publisher of Hawaiian Music. This is an AMAZING SOUNDING guitar! I have never heard a wood Dobro that sounds like this, ever! I have a late 20's Tricone National, and they sound Totally different. This Dobro is insanely good sounding. These are the preferred resonator guitar for the Country crowd. In fact, these particular instruments fetch More for the square necks than for the spanish necked version. Incredible condition: The Top and Back are pretty much blemish free. The sides have some small scrapes and finish blems, but Nothing structural whatsoever! The original finish is in excellent condition, and has subtle lacquer cracking that looks fantastic. Comes with what apprears to be its original chipboard case, in excellent condition. As always , we suggest taking this instrument to your favorite Luthier for action and intonation setup to suit your personal taste, but really there is nothing to do; it plays and sounds GREAT!. The serial number is 3S 6406 . This instrument was made in the USA in the 30's. No cracks. No repairs. No modifications. 100% Original!
