Up for auction is a beautiful pair of 13in K Istanbul Zidjian hi hats.
My research puts this pair of hi hats in the intermediate Stamp period (1959-1966)
Purchased from Franks Drum shop in Chicago over 3 decades ago, then brought to west coast where they have had one owner ever since (and played very little).
Can faintly make out the white ink stamp that reads medium heavy . By 2016 standards I would say they fall into the thin light weight category.
Artesian signature is legible, on the under side of bells, the hole in the top hat has been stepped out to accommodate the larger sized diameter hi hat clutches of today.Both holes have a tinge of key holing, or are not perfectly round, edges of both cymbal a virtually nice free, found one little rough area when ran finger across the bottom hat.Don't let this gem slip away!!
