Up for sale is a 2008 Collings C10 Deluxe Cutaway Acoustic Electric. Features include: Solid Spruce Top; Solid Rosewood Back and Sides; Mahogany Neck; Ebony Bridge Fingerboard; Cutaway Body; Multi-Ply Bound Top, Back, Fingerboard and Headstock; Nitrocellulose Lacquer Finish; Mother-of-Pearl Inlays; LR Baggs Anthem Pick-Up System(Piezo+Mic w/Soundhole Controls); and Waverly Tuners. A strap button has been properly installed on the back of neck/heel. Nut Width 1.7"; Scale Length 25.5". This guitar has been played some with typical/minor wear and marks, but well-cared for and in overall very good condition. Structurally solid and without issue: Neck is straight with some minor fret wear but nothing that affects performance; Electronics works like new and sound great; no cracks, warps, etc. - SOLID! Cosmetically overall: this guitar has a very clean look with a shiny/clear glossy finish, but shows some wear. There is nothing major/heavy and with a casual look from a few feet it has a near new appearance, but with closer inspection you will find a variety of marks/wear - worst pictured. The top has some strumming wear/indents around the soundhole but nothing thru to the wood(see pics) as well as a couple of mild/shallow dings and a couple of marks on the corner binding (see pics), otherwise clean with any other issues being very mild/minor. The back has some mild marks/swirls etc that are really only noticeable in the glare of the light and overall very clean. The sides are overall clean as well with a few more noticeable marks on the bottom bout(playing position - see pics) but nothing major. The worst cosmetic issue is a dent on the back of the neck(see pic). Headstock overall is very clean with some mild marks on the edge that are more felt than seen. If you're looking for 'near-new' this guitar is not for you - If you don't mind some typical/minor wear/tear that happens with normal playing/handling on a guitar that looks 'near-new' from a few feet, you won't be disappointed. This guitar has been recently set-up with D'Addario EJ16's - action is medium to med/low and plenty of room in the saddle to lower more - plays, looks, sounds amazing and needs nothing. Includes the Original Deluxe Hardshell Case in overall very good condition as well, but does have some typical wear with a frayed top corner and some missing tolex(about 3/4"x2.5" - happy to email a pic).
