Beautiful Guild CO-2C OM Orchestra size with Cutaway Acoustic/Electric Guitar with Original Hard shell Case + Owners manual + Case key + Pickguard(the pickguards were optional with this model and were included with the guitar in the case by Guild, they could be installed later or not, depending on the wishes of the owner)., This CO-2C is simply gorgeous In Near Mint Condition, No players wear, No Fret wear, No Cracks, No damage or structural issues, It is 100% structurally solid and sound, its cosmetically a 9.5/10, it plays and sounds awesome., This one had some minor lacquer checking crack lines in the finish around the bridge area that were resealed and refinished, the finish touchups around the bridge area look well done-see photos, the Striped ebony bridge is tight. This Guild is Made from all solid tone woods! Striped ebony fretboard and bridge---Straight factory spec angled one piece Mahogany neck(untouched truss rod)---Adirondack Red Spruce Top Soundboard with some bear-claw present---Honduran Mahogany Body---Gotoh 700 tuners---Factory D-TAR pickup system(requires batteries), 1.75" Bone Nut and Compensated Bone Saddle original factory height with Bone bridge pins(all original)---Madagascar Rosewood headplate and soundhole rosette---Mother of Pearl guild logo---100% Factory Stock with easy Factory stock playing setup, No Modifications or Alterations, Factory standard strap pins so you can play standing up., There is informational reviews online and also youtube has some sound bites for the Guild CO2C you can hear, they are truly great professional level guitars., Historically, after Guild moved its factory from Tacoma Washington to Connecticut they ceased making these CO and CV model Guilds, and most the remaining inventory were then designated "Refurbished", usually for minor finish related cosmetic issues from the Tacoma Washington Guild factory., When these Guild CO and CV models were refurbished, they then received a stamp on the back of the headstock stating "USED" and a new serial number issued. Some of the best values in American made Guitars currently are the professionally refurbished instruments, mostly because these are still basically like New guitars but with minor issues, usually cosmetic., The CO2C Guild is no longer in production, so refurbished ones are your best bet in getting one that's been basically unplayed and still in like new condition. But the supply of these seem to be drying up, and as they end up in the hands of collectors and players, they will likely be unwilling to part with them., My Luthier gives it a 100% structural bill of health, I'm selling it not because of any issue or problem with this guitar, but because I am downsizing and preparing to move relocate where space will be limited., This Guild CO2C has been in my temperature controlled humidified guitar room with loosened strings, stored in its case., The CO2C MSRP was $2,700 back in 2007., If they were still being made today with the same quality of workmanship and high end tone woods on these guitars, the cost would easily put the current price in the over $3,000+ zone, made in the USA ., This guitar was in my collection because of its beauty and marvelous tone, its virtually unplayed and in as close to new condition as you can find on a refurbished Guild, just some minor finish cosmetics that are not easily seen or photograph, its a Rock Solid guitar that will make the new owner very happy with years and years of playing enjoyment. S/H USA is a flat $48.89 USPS., PLEASE COMPLETE PAYMENT DIRECTLY AFTER END OF AUCTION., |
