This bassoon was refurbished when I purchased it 18 years ago. It does need to be re-padded. It plays wonderfully and has a dark and mellow tone. It is made from Tiger Maple with silver plated keys. I no longer play and would love to give someone the chance to enjoy a professional bassoon. I will ship this instrument three days after payment is made, fully insured and trackable through U.P.S...
