For slightly more than you will pay for a Wolfgang Standard with no case you can get a gently used EVH Wolfgang Special Guitar w gorgeous EVH SKB Hardshell case. This is a hardtail version in a beautiful black finish. These early model Wolfgang used all the same parts as the USA models but came with a Flat top shelf as opposed to an arch top and were assembled overseas. Other than that the guitars are identical. Much better build quality than the most recent models that are made in Mexico and a huge upgrade from the Standard Models. Some of the features are, USA Wolfgang pickups, maple neck with graphite reinforcement rods installed, Tonepros bridge, Schaller tailpiece with fine tuners, EVH branded Gotoh tuners, same volume and tone knobs, wiring too. There are also strap lock buttons installed on the guitar. This guitar looks as good as it sounds and the neck is sweet and easy to play. This is a very solid instrument at a great price much less then the newer Mexican model.
