We're paring down some gear right now, so our loss is your gain! This is an older version of the Daking Pre/EQ. It's phenomenal. The only drawback is that the way Daking treated the faceplate on these older models, the paint is a good bit darker shade of green than the later ones, and the powdercoating/painting process must have been different, because the paint has started to flake off where the screws mount it to a rack. This is not from abuse, just from the pressure of the screws, so I think he tinkered with the pain/powdercoating in later models to prevent this.We had this Daking about three years, and we are not the original owner. It lived in a smoke-free, low humidity, carefully maintained studio. It was used very gently and treated VERY well. I believe its input and output transformers are Jensens. The bulb for the Bypass button is out, but the button itself works. It looks like a quick and easy fix; we just didn't have time to open 'er up and take care of it. It comes with a Daking PSA power supply. The preamp has plenty of nice, quality gain, but as most people will attest, it's the on-board EQ (with low and high pass filters, to boot) that people write home about. It is all that it's made out to be. Musical, powerful, subtle OR extreme...it's just fantastic. We do accept returns but ONLY if there is something noticeably wrong/broken with the piece. We don't mean to be difficult about this, but we do not accept returns for those that have changed their minds. Returns accepted for defects only.We charge a flat rate for shipping with the understanding that all shipping overages are promptly refunded to the buyer. In other words, the winning buyer pays the flat rate, we ship, then we refund all shipping overages. Buyer pays ONLY actual shipping, once all is said and done. Please email with any questions, and thanks for your time and interest!
