For sale is a 1947 Leedy "players" drum set. This kit consists of a 13" rack tom, 16" floor tom and 22" bass drum. At some point in its life, the bass drum has been cut down from a 24" to a 22" (as seen in the photos provided). Despite some cosmetic issues, mainly in the floor tom, this kit sounds and performs absolutely great. The bearing edges have recently been recut and the drums produce a rich warm tone with very even sustain. Coated emperors on top and coated ambassadors on bottom with plenty of life left in them. Bass drum is missing tension rods for resonant side head but original rim and head ARE included in the sale. I've recorded these drums many times with fantastic results. Thanks for looking!
