The time has come and I'm selling my SG. Made in Kalamazoo Michigan. I've owned this guitar since 1988. It's perfectly imperfect. There are dings dents and slight playing rash. There is some left over adhesive from a sticker that was on there 20 years ago. The Grover tuners are not original. They are nice though. The Bigsby was taken off before i bought it. The white pickup mount was was put on by me because the original black one was cracked. No I don't have our still.
This guitar is a player. It's not a prima donna that you hide in a closet tucked away in its case. That's exactly where it has been. I don't play much any more. This guitar has an interesting history and has been played by a few detroit garage and lo fi upstarts. That's not the important part though. This guitar screams. It pays almost effortlessly and sounds amazing. The case is a custom 1970s metal road case that is nuke proof. The case and guitar together probably weigh 35 pounds. DISCLAIMER...
I'm an old punk who bought this sweet guitar in the late 80s. I'm not a collector guitar expert. But as stated i know that this is not a collector piece. It has T top pickups that are dated between 67-74 this i found out because a potential Craigslist buyer was looking for tarbacks so i got a real quick google education on the pickups on this. Also I know that the serial numbers indicate that this is pre 1974. The guy that I bought it from told me that it was a 1972. Shipping.. I will have this professionally packed and shipped so shipping will be 85.00 to the United States. I will provide a receipt. if its any less I will refund the difference.
