As you can see, there are a few scrapes and knocks to the tolex on the corners. The underside of the amplifier is the worst for this, but still retains the majority of the tolex, as you can see in the pictures below. The 'M' is missing on the original Marshall logo. There are two extra screw holes to the backboard, as pictured, where another screw was added on both sides to secure. We've taken these out and left the holes as they are, but these could easily be added back. We've tried to be as honest as possible regarding the condition and, quite frankly, it's not as bad as we describe above. The pictures show clearly the cosmetic condition from all angles. Originality We believe all the parts that matter are original, as pictured. There was previously a 'master volume' added to the back panel which has been completely and professionally reversed. The back panel has been plugged, as pictured. As mentioned, the knobs are all original but there has been three period (1960s) replacement tops to them. This is hardly recognisable but we wouldn't want to sell it without clarity. There has also been two pots changed. Service History We pride ourselves on our inspections and the professional service of each amplifier, making this ready to plug in and play anywhere within the UK. Summary One of the best quality amplifiers you'll find. These exceed the quality of most new amplifiers and are always on the increase in regards to collectability. Come along and have a play! Please click on the photographs below to see the high quality versions.
