here is for sale a '77 Fender Precision Bass hardly modified.
- Headstock was sanded , logo and serial # included , but the Fender logo print shadow can be seen depending the light.
- Original Fender stamp prints still remains on the neck heel ( except the last digit or letter ) as a proof of year of neck manufacture and origin.
- Original fingerboard and neck back polish still remains too.
- Nut was changed by a graphite one
- New Schaller tuners and string retainer added
- Fully refretted but a few frets require refilling and 2 of it have their tang twisted.
- Truss rod fully working
- Original body ( alder or ash ) was planed ( back and front ) and a maple top and mahogany back were added
- Ebony rods were added around the neck pocket as well as an ebony plate to hide the truss-rod access which was extended.
- new Hipshot A Style bridge added with thru body string mounting ferrules.
- Two MMC shape sockets were done.
- Electronic cavity extended with matching cover plate
- There are 2 stabilized thin cracks on the top (above the bridge) side joints between original body and added veneers (back and top) is not regular (can be fixed by finishing sand work )
- Electronic cavity cover plate isn't regular too and need modifications to perfectly match with the back veneer.
- Finish sanding woodwork can be improved especially between bridge and P.U.'s and on the truss rod cover.
- There is a maple wedge under the neck heel , to compensate the need to route a small slot under the bridge ( the veneer raises a bit the top height ).
- Back and top are not varnished , only a soft matte open pores protection was applied . it can be oiled Electronics :

Volume pot with active/passive push-pull - Stacked Bass/Treble pot - 2 x DPDT switches for P.U.'s selection and MMC coils selection This P.BASS has not an amazing wood finish , some visual and frets imperfections , but nothing easily unfixable for very low cost
It's very playable , has a great confortable maple neck and sounds HUGE and ballsy
It comes with hardcase or can be shipped with neck unscrewed for downsizing the parcel , consequently the shipping cost...
