Spitzengeige, 19. Jahundert, mit Zettel: Georgius Thier fecit Vienne (Wien) Anno 1792.Bei diesem Instrument handelt es sich um eine Spitzenvioline. Sie ist ein in bester Qualität gebautes Streichinstrument. Top-Angebot.Die Violine ist für ihr Alter in einem sehr guten Zustand und hat kleinere Reparaturen (auf der rechten Deckenseite einen altreparierten, sehr gut verarbeiteten Riss (kein Stimmriss)! und einen kleinen reparierten Haarriss).
Sie hat eine wunderschöne Decke und einen wundervollen, einteiligen Boden (siehe Fotos). Auf beiden Seiten befinden sich sehr große Hohlkehlen (siehe Foto 5).Der gold/gelb/orange Lack im alt-italienischen Stil, wie überhaupt die gesamte Erscheinung, verleihen diesem Instrument eine unverwechselbare Aura. Die außergewöhnliche Schnecke rundet das Bild dieses Instrumentes ab.Der Wert der Violine wurde vom Geigenbauer auf 2300.- EUR geschätzt.
Die Geige ist bestückt mit neuen Saiten und sofort spielbereit.

This violin is a first-class string instrument manufactured in best quality! According to its age, the instrument is in a very good condition, including minor repairs (one old perfectly repaired crack on the right side of the top plate - no crack over the sound post of table - and one little repaired hairline crack). It has got a lovely top plate and a wonderful back in one piece. On both sides there are very distinctive scoops (please look at picture 5).
The golden/yellow/orange varnish at the basis of Old Italian style, moreover the overall impression, lend this violin an unmistakable aura. In addition to this, the extraordinary scroll rounds off the appearance of this instrument.This violin has been estimated at 2300 Eur by a violin maker.
It is equipped with new strings and it is in full playing condition.
