Martin 000-28VSThis guitar was built in 2002 and is in excellent condition. There is normal play wear and one ding that I show in the pictures. I am the original owner and have kept it in a climate controlled smoke free studio. I picked this guitar from three at Mandolin Brothers Music in 2002. This one stood head and shoulders above the other two for not only the exceptional woods used, but the sound was much clearer and full. Both the dealer and I were amazed at the difference. This guitar projects quite well.This is a 000-12 fret to the body guitar. The top is Sitka Spruce with scalloped Sitka X bracing. Brace's are 5/16" with 1/4" tone bars. Note that this is slightly larger than the other 28 Vintage Series that Martin makes. Back and sides are East Indian Rosewood. The back has very notable grain to it. The scale length is 25.4" with a nut width of 1 13/16". I prefer the wider neck. The bridge and fingerboard is Ebony with a Mahogany modified V neck. Includes the original Martin hard case made by TKL.The guitar will come properly packed and insured for the purchase price. I charge only the actual shipping cost.
